Remix!

I'm not sure how much of you are remix fans but anyone who knows me knows that I have about 20 versions of the same song on my iPod at all times. Therefore... I feel that I should share some of these mixes with you so that you have an opportunity to see the amazing songs that can be remade into different amazing songs! Hopefully you enjoy or at least try a different type of music that you wouldn't normally listen to (and like it!)

Britney Spears - "Hold It Against Me (Rafael Lelis Remix)"
What I love in this mix is that someone finally got ahold of an acapella track for the song so people are finally able to mix the song without the original song blaring in the background. I also love how they change up the song toward the end with "Tonight, I want more" stuff! Really awesome. Pretty cool video for it too!

Rihanna - "What's My Name (Klip Klap Mix)"
I really like this mix of the song because it speeds it up a bit and I feel that every song does well with a good hand clap added in! Just slightly different from the original but makes it much more dance floor friendly which is always enjoyable!

Ke$ha - "Cannibal (Brian Cua Radio Edit)"
I really love the original version of this song although is a lot to take with all of the cannibalistic references. But, the remix is able to give a more animalistic feeling to the song and also incorporates the song "I Eat Cannibals" by Total Coelo which fits amazingly well into the song. The only problem that I have with the radio edit is that it ends so quickly but the club mix is about... 3 minutes longer so I sacrifice!

Katy Perry - "Firework (Wideboys Radio Mix)"
Wideboys is a pretty legit production team that mixes pretty well. Their mixes are very popular in clubs and this one doesn't stray from the bunch. On another note, Katy Perry has really made a breakthrough with her sophomore album Teenage Dream which has produced amazing singles like "California Gurls" "Firework" and "Teenage Dream" and other potential hits like "E.T." and "Peacock". Amazing album. And now we are discovering how amazingly Katy Perry's songs are to remix. I never fear that the mixes of her songs will be anything less than amazing!

Michael Buble - "Haven't Met You Yet (Cutmore Radio Mix)"
I would have never thought that a mix like this was possible, because you don't tend to think of Michael Buble as an artist you'd dance to in a club atmosphere. But, this mix is beyond amazing and I've heard it in stores and have added to my personal favorites! Hope you enjoy!

Rihanna - "S&M (Linuxis1994 Tribal Mix)"
For not having an official acapella of this track, this mix is pretty amazing. It keeps the integrity of the original track but plays with it a bit more giving it the "Tribal" feeling mentioned in the mix title!

Maroon 5 - "Misery (Bimbo Jones Radio Mix)"
Maroon 5 is a group that has great remixes and great songs to begin with. Their remix album, although not a complete winner for me, has some amazing mixes of the lesser known tracks that actually led me to listen to their "non single" songs. I really appreciate this group and have bough each album. They are consistently producing great music and mixes!

Miley Cyrus - "Who Owns My Heart (Static Revenger Controversey Mix)
This mix has a more adult vibe to it than the original mix, and has elements of electric and dubstep in the mix. I really like the original song, but this mix is pretty awesome! The video is pretty cool too!

Anyways, I hope that you at least give the mixes a chance! If you don't like then stay tuned for more updates on current singles and my favorites! Peace!
